About Terri E. Boroughs

Terri E. Boroughs joined Barnes Maloney PLLC in 2004, and she became a partner in 2012. Terri has focused her work in medical malpractice defense for over twenty years representing physicians, nurses, hospitals and nursing homes.  To do this, she combines her undergraduate nursing degree and her law degree.  As a nurse, Terri worked in a twenty-bed coronary care unit in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has worked locally as a nurse at Suburban Hospital, Baptist Hospital East and Norton Hospital prior to entering law school.  Terri is a native of West Virginia where she completed her undergraduate studies in 1988.  She then completed law school at the University of Louisville in 1995.  She is a member of the Louisville Bar Association.   

 
Terri is married and has one teenage daughter. She enjoys traveling with her family.
