Matthew Londergan

About Matthew R. Londergan

Matthew joined Barnes Maloney PLLC in October 2018. He focuses his practice on insurance defense and civil litigation.

Matthew grew up just outside of Charleston in Summerville, South Carolina. He received his B.S. in Political Science (magna cum laude) from Clemson University, Calhoun Honors College, in 2011. Law school led Matthew to the University of Kentucky College of Law where he received his J.D. in 2015. While at UK, Matthew was selected as a member of the Moot Court National Team, competed for the Intrastate Trial Team, and was a member of the Moot Court Board and Trial Advocacy Board.

Matthew has called Louisville home since graduating from law school in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked for three years as an Assistant Public Defender in Louisville litigating cases in District, Circuit, Juvenile, and Family Courts.     

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys watching and attending Clemson and UK sporting events, playing trivia, and traveling with his family.
