About Justin M. Schaefer

Every day, Justin brings the assets of an experienced litigator to serve our firm’s growing client base.  As lead counsel, Justin has defended numerous public entities, non-profits, and private companies in lawsuits brought in federal and state courts in Kentucky and Indiana. He has frequently defended municipalities and public officials in civil rights actions, and has litigated a vast array of complex claims, including wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and professional negligence.

Whether resolving a case through pre-suit negotiations or vigorously defending a case through trial, Justin always counsels his clients on ways to limit and manage risks.  He works tirelessly to protects his clients’ interests, and routinely collaborates with them to understand and help them achieve their goals.

Justin was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and is proud to call the River City home.  In his free time, Justin enjoys being with his family and friends.  He especially enjoys listening to live music, and is an avid foodie who loves finding new restaurants that are doing things a little differently than everyone else.
