Blake Edwards & Daniel Wenig Obtain Summary Judgment in MVA Action

In June 2023, Blake Edwards and Daniel Wenig obtained Summary Judgment in Lawrence Circuit Court on behalf of a construction company that was sued for personal injuries that allegedly arose out of a motor vehicle accident.  Mr. Edwards and Mr. Wenig argued that the plaintiff’s alleged injuries were fully compensable through workers’ compensation and as a result, his tort claim against the construction company was improper.  The Court was convinced by these arguments and promptly granted Summary Judgment on all grounds in favor of the construction company and dismissed all of the plaintiff’s claims asserted against the construction company.
